Can anyone confirm if the MMC64 only supports an REU when connected to the passthrough cart connector?

I'm assuming MMC64 + REU connected to a cart port extender doesn't work, but I don't own an MMC64.

I have used MMC64 and 1750 on a 4-way expansion port divider and it is half so. In boot-up, the BIOS will hang if the RAM Expansion is active (not tested with current BIOS).

However, since my port expander has an individual switch for each connector, if I switch the 1750 off at reset, and turn it on later, MMC64 will boot-up and it'll work.
