hi we all know that mmc64 uses prog files but is there anyway of putting two prog files into for example robocop2 has 2 progs in 1 d64 format ones the main program and the other are the levels hope someone can come up with a tool that packs them both together or if any one on here can share some light i would be happy i was also looking at vice emulator which does has disk drive support these files are not bin but file extensions now if im right we could use this in the mmc 64 bios or as a plug in i know sounds crazy i would even be happy if someone makes an tap support in mmc i know its slow tape loading image but hay no tape deck
thanks paul

Dude! You should really learn to use . and , when writing. It's really difficult to understand otherwise :D

Anyway, how a game loads its data is entirely up to the author/coder and the technical limitations of that game and thus varies from game to game. Many games even have their own fast loader / copy protection systems so that data is read directly from the disk tracks instead of files. Although many of these games were repacked when cracked for easy distribution it still depends on how the packing was done. So there's no way to make a generic tool, but one have to modify / patch every single game to be MMC64 compatible (as with, for instance, IDE64).
