could an 1.44 floppy disk drive be connected to the mmc64 i know someone done a project to the commodore serial port but that would be cool if it could be connected

I'm not sure if there are any MFD controllers that supports programmed I/O nowadays. I can't really see the points of a floppy disk when you already got the MMC disk anyway.
