As a followup to my comment in this thread.

This works, I can't believe it. It's so awesome. :D Requires cartridge port expansion.

1. Copy WARPCOPY06.PRG (fixed to your desired IP address) to your IDE64 drive somewhere.

2. Put RR in Flash Mode.

3. Power on with IDE64 and RR slots active.

4. Load WARPCOPY06 on the 64 but don't run it.

5. Type CHANGE or otherwise assign drive #8 to your IDE64 drive (since WarpCopy only allows drives 8-11)

6. Run WARPCOPY06. RR-Net should be detected.

7. Now run the client on the PC and configure to the correct IP address.

8. You should now be able to:

-Get a listing of the current directory on your IDE64 drive

-Drag/drop single files from your PC directly onto the IDE64 drive through the Warpcopy client window. (This is sooo handy)

-Export single PRG files from the IDE64 onto your PC.

There's no way to change directories on the IDE64, but that's a minor inconvenience.

As you might imagine, reading/writing disk images doesn't work. Just tried it out of curiosity, and my 1541 went bananas. So don't try that!

It's the Cardco5.

Can you use Contiki from the IDE64 with your setup?

Well, the upcoming IDE64 V4 will have a clock port on it, so you can connect an RR-net directly.
