MMC Replay + C128

Post subject:  MMC Replay + C128
Am I the only one who encounterd problems with MMC Replay when using a C128 here? After reset I get alot of memory garbage at around $1000. Is there a way to stop this?

Hi,
Here are some tips:
Are you using port expander? If yes - try using MMC without it. If no clean cartridge port - I had similar problems to yours due to this. Also make sure that the MMC is inserted correctly. Try running C128 in c64 mode by pressing the C= key while booting.

C128s could be very problematic.

Not much help but i can confirm the mmc/replay is working ok in my c128.

Latest software installed ?

http://siliconsonic.de/t/bin/mmcreplay055.zip is the latest, but when I flash my MMC Replay with it, the rr-net stops working

How would recommend me to clean my cartridge port? I also had the same problem with my other C128 (not desktop).

I use a rubber to clean the contacts.
Then some contact cleaner spray to clean the cartridge port
on the c64/128.

Im still using http://siliconsonic.de/t/bin/MMC_Replay_V054.zip

it doesnt, really :) its when you run a program by pressing return on a file in the filebrowser - then its beeing started with the cartridge (and that also means the rr-net) disabled. that had to be done to increase compatibility (actually, a LOT) with other programs. (and i kinda missed to have another keycompo that lets you run stuff with the cart active - sorry).

if you run the program however else (with the cartridge active), then rr-net works as expected.
