I had huge difficulty registering. Only the third attempt produced a successful security code, because it is almost impossible to read due to the use of mixed case in different sizes, so you can't decide which is a lower case and which is an upper case S, for example. Furthermore, the was no message given afterwards about the account starting inactive and that you have to activate it from the email. This caused further trouble as I tried several times to login, in vain. This is not the kind of a welcome I had hoped for. |

Yes I had to use this difficult visual verification since spam-bots can decipher the original version. And I think spammers are more inconventient than this one-time inconvenience. It's a shame that you have to impose such barriers to keep out the scum. You're doing a good job though especially compared to some forums I visit. |
