No, as I'm told all old plugins will stop functioning... and there's a heap of them I need.. :)

It is my understanding that existing plugins will work with 1.10 if your card has a fat16 filesystem, but 1.10 w/fat32 would require plugins to be updated.

From the readme:

usual. Using FAT32 formatted cards, old plugins won't
work anymore, only new, so called "multifat" plugins will
work, which are designed to support BOTH FAT16 and FAT32.

are re-released in the new format.
